Fun place to visit with stellar views. If you come to Maine visiting Hobbs is the Maine restaurant you want to visit. Overlooking the harbor in Wells you can sit outside and have a cocktail or sit inside at the bar. It's always busy and the staff are friendly. From fried food to a few healthier alternatives our favorites are the shrimp cocktail and seafood chowdah. We are local so are lucky to go when we feel like it. Lunches are not as busy so a nice time to go. While it closes for the winter mark your calendars for the spring reopening. When Hobbs opens spring is here!
Great dinner here! The view is amazing, our server Jeanne was super friendly and helpful and the fish was fresh!! Was a really great overall experience here
Today we had the most wonderful lunch at the beautiful Hobb's Harborside Restaurant in Wells Maine. The menu is gigantic and food was fabulous starting with Clam Chowder and a side order of whole belly fried clams which were cooked in a perfectly cooked batter. Others had the Haddock Chowder which they loved. They also had Scallop rolls which were equally delicious. As for me I had an overstuffed Lobster Roll which was sweet with very little mayonnaise in a perfectly toasted brioche roll. The combination of delicious food and service, spectacular harbor views with the newly created deck made for a memorable experience and will surely be back. This is the Best Restaurant I have been to. This is based on the Food alone. Service and Scenery is good too. Nothing on this menu isn't the best you ever had which includes appetizers.
I had called to see if we could make reservations because there were 12 of us, but they said they would work it out when we got there. Well, when we arrived, there was a table for 12 ALREADY set up!! The view was great & the food wonderful! Would def recommend & hopefully return one day!!
Off the beaten path but very good food and service. I recommend this spot. Fish and lobster of course and lots of other things. Near the harbor with some views. It's a busy place so you may want to go on the earlier side or risk a wait to get in.

Great drinks and service! Matt and Ethan were super kind and knowledgeable about the whole drink menu, and you can't beat the view! Would give 6 stars if I could
